Circular Awards announced by the EU CERC

At the closing plenary of WCEF2025, the EU Circular Economy Resource Centre announced new Circular Awards to recognise and celebrate best practices in the circular economy taken forward by governments and businesses.

The EU Circular Economy Resource Centre (EU CERC) has today announced new annual Circular Awards for public sector organisations and businesses. The call for applications for the 2026 Policy Implementation Award by the EU CERC was opened at the closing plenary by Sitra, the Finnish Innovation Fund who manages this award and implements the centre together with Enabel, the Belgian agency for international cooperation. The EU CERC is co-funded by the European Commission and the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

Together with the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP) and the Brazilian National Industry Confederation (CNI), the EU CERC awarded today Energy Source with a special award: the Business Award LAC 2025 by the EU CERC, FIESP and CNI in recognition of outstanding leadership and innovation in advancing the circular economy in Latin America. The initiative serves as an inspiring example of sustainable business practices, contributing to a more resilient, regenerative and circular future.

Stay tuned for the call for applications for the 2026 Business Awards by the EU CERC, managed by Enabel, this summer!
