Practical information

Here are some tips and information about WCEF2025 – stay tuned for more!

The World Circular Economy Forum will take place from 13 to 16 May 2025 in São Paulo, in the middle of Ibirapuera Park, the city’s most famous. The 160-hectare park contains bike paths, museums, a planetarium, sports courts, restaurants, different spaces for shows and events and a nursery for trees with over 200 different species of seedlings for the city’s public areas.

The forum’s entire setup will be located in the architectural ensemble designed by Oscar Niemeyer, at the Auditorium and the Pavilion of Brazilian Cultures (Pacubra).

Getting around in São Paulo

How to get from GRU airport to the city?

  • Taxis are available at the airport, and services like Uber and 99 can also be used. Just request a ride through the app.
  • Airport Bus Service: Offers buses with various routes to different regions of São Paulo, such as Avenida Paulista. You can book online or at the airport.
  • Metro: A transfer from the airport terminals will take you to the nearest metro station.

How to get between Ibirapuera Park and your hotel?

Partner hotels are located very close to the park and will offer a zero-emission, 100% electric van for forum participants, providing morning and evening shuttle services.

For those who prefer to come and go at different times, we recommend sharing an Uber or taxi with other event participants to minimise emissions.

Vehicles can enter the park through Gate 2, and drop-off is directly in front of the auditorium.

Visa

Some countries require a visa to enter Brazil. To find out if this applies to you, please visit the Brazilian government’s portal for information
