Designing nature-based solutions for a circular economy

The circular economy designs out waste and pollution, keeps products and materials in use, and enhances the resilience and regeneration of natural systems. The transition depends on circular design and redesign that draw insights from nature to drive regenerative outcomes. The session will explore the synergies between nature-based solutions and circular design, and how these solutions can drive regeneration and support biodiversity, while contributing to climate change mitigation and adaptation. Additionally, the discussion will explore the role of financing and public-private partnerships.

Organisers: Brazilian National Confederation of Industry; Ellen MacArthur Foundation; and Sitra, the Finnish Innovation Fund.
