Empowering local circular solutions in agriculture

This session will share success stories in the adoption of circular practices in agricultural value chains from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica and Viet Nam. Policymakers, private sector and agricultural associations share what convinced them to change their practices and how these were realised. While respecting their free, prior and informed consent, representatives of Indigenous communities will shed light on how Indigenous approaches can inspire new ways of thinking about agriculture for the future.

Organisers: UNDP and Circular Innovation Lab, with Brazilian Agricultural Organization (EMBRAPA); Brazilian Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Heating (ABRAVA); and Sao Paolo Environmental Agency (CETESB)
