Mobility is one of the biggest challenges in the pursuit of a low-carbon economy. Tackling this issue requires a synergy of diverse perspectives and innovations which can be integrated and adapted to the different realities across the globe. This session will delve into the energy transition, materials’ circularity and different decarbonisation technologies. Exploring critical topics such as the growing demand for materials, fuels, biofuels and infrastructure, the discussion will emphasise how regional realities and innovations of the Global South can contribute to integrating energy transition technologies across land, sea and air transport.
