Retrofitting buildings: Lessons from a global network

The retrofiting or renovation of existing buildings to improve energy performance, usability and resilience is essential for the built environment sector to reach its climate goals. Innovative, profitable and scalable solutions can provide buildings which uers can thrive in while helping meet evolving environmental and regulatory standards. This session will explore how retrofitting buildings can support decarbonisation and resource efficiency and what the potential trade-offs are, as well as showcase lessons learned from across the WorldGBC global network, with examples in action from the Americas region.
