The circular economy as a tool for global development

Join us to explore the opportunities of circular solutions in driving sustainable development globally. This session emphasises the Southern and Northern hemispheres’ integration, the relevance of regional diversities and implementing circularity from a global perspective. We will dive deeper into how the circular economy can promote growth and well-being and explore what different regions can learn from each other. The closing plenary will also reflect on the actions presented over the two days and end with a drum roll: Which country will WCEF explore and learn from next?

Organisers: Sitra, the Finnish Innovation Fund; Federation of the Industries of the State of São Paulo; Brazilian National Confederation of Industry; with the European Commission
