Collaborative success: Building symbiotic relationships in industry

Symbiosis results from companies’ collaboration within networks to create shared production systems, minimising waste and maximising resource efficiency. Industries can adopt three broad strategies: narrow material flows, slow flows and close loops. Examples of successful symbiotic partnerships shared in this session will illustrate innovative solutions, benefits and challenges, especially in Latin American countries. Join us to gain understanding of how symbiotic business relationships can promote resource efficiency and economic development, as well as mitigate climate change.
